The classic Pisgah mountain bike ride. A tour of all the single-track that you’ve read about, this loop could take 5 to 7 hours and is considered very difficult. Single-track climbs, switchback descents and beautiful hand cut trail is what has put Brevard on the map as a destination.

Note: Access to this ride is found at the Turkey Pen trailhead on Turkey Pen Rd., off NC 280 (Asheville Highway) at the Henderson and Transylvania County line. You may need to park at the bottom of the road; it is rough and may be impassable for cars with low clearance.
